Be on the lookout for our sock drive collection on the Greenspring campus! Dubbed Socktober, the drive will collect donations in order to buy and send socks to those in need. A $1 donation will donate one pair of socks to an individual at Helping Up Mission, a non-profit organization in Baltimore.
Lambda Pi Eta will be collecting donations at their table on Oct. 7 for Mustangs Make a Difference Day and continuing their collection throughout October. Please consider making a donation!

Look who's fielding the microphones on the latest episode of SUTV's "Dizzy Horses"! There's one familiar BizComm face, Kaitlin Kirkwood (far right), who has been a fixture on the interactive TV show for a year now, but joining her are first-year BizComm students Caitlin and Christina, helping out with some interviews. Looks like the "Wet and Wild Field Day" was a success. Great job, ladies!
Business communication professor Dr. Leeanne Bell McManus has been nominated for First Vice-President Elect-Select of the Eastern Communication Association (ECA). If elected, Dr. Bell would create and pursue goals that relate to teaching, research, and service. She has worked with ECA before by attending annual symposiums, serving as marketing director, and planning conferences such as the 2016 convention in Baltimore. What an honor... congratulations, Dr. Bell!
Senior Colby Giacubeno continues to work toward his dream of becoming a sports journalist by gaining experience in sport communication. On Sept. 28, Colby traveled to Washington, D.C., to participate in the Washington Wizards media day. His basketball background, thoughtful questions and professionalism allowed him to interview players and recap the event for Fox Sports Radio.
