The Business Communication department caught up with 2015 grad Charlie Taylor who told us, "I am back working at Employer Assurance Solutions in the Marriotsville office (where I interned) and am taking my Life & Health insurance exam to become an independent agent."
Congratulations, Charlie! We knew that your internship site supervisor had made you a job offer, so this is great news!

The department recently heard from one of our alums, Jessica Barley, who is a graduate assistant and student in the Applied Gerontology Masters Program at Towson University. She writes: "I  wanted to share with you that I accepted a full-time administration position at Brightview, the company I interned with while I was at Stevenson. I will be at the Towson location now instead of in Bel Air, but I am so excited to start next week!  I thought you would be excited to hear that I went through four separate interviews for the position and I felt so prepared because of my business communication courses. All of the information I learned is certainly so relevant in the working world. Thank you for all of your advice and preparation in my undergraduate years!"

Great news, Jess! We are so proud of you and love the path that your career is taking you. (Jessica is shown on the right in the photo during her internship at Brightview).
