Communication News

Now that the Department of Communication Programs has added Communication Studies as a second major to its roster, the department is expanding extracurricular opportunities for our majors, minors, and interested persons from the general student body to come and apply their communication skills to real-world contexts and activities. The Communication Roundtable provides students with a space in which to discuss socio-cultural issues through a communication lens, develop leadership skills, pursue scholarship endeavors, and gain competencies in the practice of communication with diverse others.
Come and be a part of the inaugural experience as we launch this new club on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Join us at the link below.

Congratulations to Emma Rose Adams, a 2019 Stevenson University Business Communication graduate, who has made New York City her new home as she begins in-person Masters classes at the Parsons School of Design, working towards an MPS degree in fashion management. Emma has utilized her four years on SU's NCAA field hockey team as well as the advice of her professors to continue her work remotely for T. Rowe Price from her apartment in Kips Bay near Park Avenue and the fashion district. Emma says she is realizing her dream come true, one that SU helped come alive. Best wishes for this new venture, Emma!
