Senior Katlyn Lamp (on the left in the photo) is completing a year-long internship at Sagamore Farms, a lovely rural site in Baltimore county. From the website: "Founded in 1925, Sagamore Farm was developed into a world renowned racing and breeding operation by Alfred G. Vanderbilt, Jr. from 1933 – 1986. In 2007, Under Armour founder and CEO Kevin Plank, a Maryland native, purchased the 530-acre farm, where today, it has 40 horses in training – 13 of which are currently racing." Katlyn's job in media,  marketing and events has provided her with a wealth of experience under the expert mentorship of Jocelyn Brooks. From tweeting about the new foals, to creating interest in a bi-weekly newsletter, to helping with Sagamore events, Katlyn has had a busy spring.

Senior Pat Candon's love of everything lacrosse as well as his interest in warehousing led him to a great internship with Lax World, under the mentorship of  Michael Stewart, the executive vice president of inventory management. Lax World's mission is "to help lacrosse players of all nationalities, ethnicities, and creeds both achieve and excel past their lacrosse goals,"  by offering top quality gear from established and upcoming brands at reasonable and accessible prices, according to the Lax World website. Pat has been handling customer orders, responding to requests for specific services, and monitoring warehouse inventory. His own background in NCAA lacrosse and knowledge of the sport have given him an edge when helping customers.

Senior Adrianna Kamosa (in the photo on the right) is interning at the Strategic Factory in Owings Mills, Md., under the supervision of Katie Scarbath, Human Resources and Recruiting Specialist. Adrianna is learning how the world of HR operates, helping to sort through job applications, screen applicants through telephone conversations, and complete the appropriate paperwork. Her interpersonal skills are tremendously useful during the interviews, and she appreciates the tremendous mentorship she is receiving at the Strategic Factory, an integrated creative and strategic brand company.
