Basketball star and Biz Comm senior Colby Giacubeno made a school record 48 points in the March 7 game against Hood College in the semifinal round of the ECAC South basketball tournament. The Mustangs grabbed a 97-71 victory over Hood as Colby went 16 for 21 from the floor, and 13 for 18 from three-point range in the semifinals of the  ECAC South Championship. His 48 points broke the previous school record of 44 set by another BizComm superstar, Wade Henninger, in 2004 against Salisbury University. Congratulations, Colby! Out of the 400 women nominated, 100 were chosen, based upon "their educational and career history, professional and community involvement, corporate and nonprofit board memberships, and mentoring experience," according to The Daily Record's website. Salli has served as a site supervisor for several Business Communication interns interested in fashion marketing over the years. Here she is shown in her boutique with one of the BizComm interns she mentored, Aja Myles.
