Business Communication professor and novelist Stephanie Verni captivated her audience on Thursday, Nov. 2, as she presented a workshop on writing and self-publishing in the Claire Moore Room in Garrison Hall at Stevenson University as part of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). The event was hosted by the SU Library and ’47 House, the communication club. Speaking to over 30 guests, and providing them with coffee and donuts, Professor Verni walked her eager audience through the process of starting a novel and getting it ready for publication. In one of the photos above, Verni (in black) is pictured with librarian Bria Sinnott, who shares an interest in #NaNoWriMo. Congratulations to Professor Verni and all the audience participants!
