Business Communication News

Keyword: outside the classroom

The Business Communication department held their second "Lunch Lessons" of the fall semester on Tuesday, Oct. 13. Current students and faculty welcomed back alums Cari Cramer Pierce and Crissy Fabiszak, who chatted about their involvement at Stevenson, past and present careers, and offered advice for young professionals. Cari owns Flip Your Dog, a personal training and health coaching company, and Crissy serves as the director of student activities at CCBC Dundalk.

Business Communication's first "Lunch Lessons" of the academic year was held on Sept. 17 and welcomed two alums back to chat with some of the majors and faculty about their experiences after leaving Stevenson. Katie Wagner Vogel (2010) and Andrew Boyer (2014) had wonderful narratives about their careers and their involvement while at Stevenson, and offered some advice to the attendees about Career Architecture and their success. Katie is now the director of marketing for Agora Financial, and Andrew is an assistant at St. Elizabeth's School in Baltimore.
