RyanP headshotHeartfelt congratulations go to communication student and Men's Hockey captain Ryan Patrick, who signed with the Peoria Rivermen of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). 

The SPHL is a professional ice hockey league based in Huntersville, North Carolina, with teams located primarily in the southeastern United States. Patrick, who made his debut with Peoria on February 27 against Vermillion, concluded his four-year playing career with the Mustangs earlier this month. 

Ryan posted three shots with a +1 rating during his debut contest for Peoria, a 5-0 shutout victory. 

Ryan Patrick PeoriaRyan is a native of Morgantown, W.Va., and holds the program's all-time points record (87) and is tied for the all-time mark in assists (63). He earned All-MAC Second Team honors during the 2019-20 season, later scoring 10 goals with 16 assists as a senior in 2021-22. 

Patrick is tied for fourth in program history with 24 career goals, notching a +30 rating over his four-year Stevenson career.

McKale Williams, basketball playerStevenson University Communication Studies major McKale Williams was recently named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Division III Student-Athlete Development Coalition, which includes "a diverse roster of NCAA Division III men's basketball players... who will provide direct feedback on a variety of national issues to the NABC," according to gomustangsports.com.

"The NABC is committed to helping grow Division III basketball and addressing key issues that impact the sport, and we consider the student-athlete voice an essential component to that process," said NABC Associate Executive Director Nate Pomeday, who chairs the coalition. "The ongoing work of the NABC Board of Directors, Division III Congress and our staff on behalf of Division III coaches will benefit greatly from the Student-Athlete Development Coalition's unique perspective." Ryan Coleman May 2021Ryan Coleman was also named to the first team in the Middle Atlantic Conference and ranks third on the team with 20 points and 14 goals. He has a point in eight of nine games this season, including a six-point performance in the season-opening victory at 18th-ranked Stevens. Coleman also netted three goals in the MAC Commonwealth semifinals win over Widener, according to gomustangsports.

Danny Williams NFLCongratulations to Business Communication graduate Danny Williams, former Mustang quarterback, on his new role at the Kansas City Chiefs as the assistant to the head coach. With Danny's love of football and understanding of the game, this is a well-deserved promotion. Congratulations, Danny, and good luck this season!

Congratulations to Business Communication junior and football quarterback Dan Williams, who was named the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Player of the Week for Oct. 1.

Williams led the Mustangs to a 65-7 victory over Misericordia University on Sept. 30, throwing for 396 yards and five touchdowns, according to gomustangsports.com. It was Williams' fifth time in his career throwing for over 300 yards, and the Mustangs also set a single-game record for points scored in a game. (Photo from gomustangsports.com)
