Two business communication faculty will once again serve as mentors in the “Faculty in the Halls” program at Stevenson University. Dr. Leeanne Bell McManus and professor Chip Rouse will be liaisons to the first-year residents in Western Run Hall, and they are joined by professors Romas Laskauskas (business administration) and Art Fifer (information systems), who serve Susquehanna Hall, and nursing professor Laurel Moody, who’s in Patapsco Hall. Her colleague, business communication professor Christine Noya, will be taking the semester off.

The program provides a bridge between academic and residential life, helping students to understand that learning can occur anywhere. The faculty members hold weekly office hours in the residence halls and plan activities for the students to engage them in SU life. The five-year-old program has seen great success and popularity since its inception and continues to grow.
