Ryan Kenney headshotComm student Ryan Kenny, a member of the men's ice hockey team, was named Middle Atlantic Conference Co-Player of the week. Ryan made a career-best 41 saves on 42 shots faced to lead the Mustangs to a 2-1 victory over Elmira in second 2021 start and his second win. Congratulations, Ryan, on your outstanding accomplishments!

Andrew Gepert headshotCongratulations to 2012 graduate Andrew Gepert in his new role at ThreatQuotient. Previously an event planner for two years, he was responsible for planning tradeshow exhibition and activities for several thousand, in addition to organizing formal dinners. In his recent promotion, his responsibilities include building the company’s ecosystem and partner influences. His new role directly supports the company's partners by creating programs, assets and resources that enable go-to product strategies and create synergies in the market. He enjoys the direct contribution to business, the hands-on approach in this people-facing position and the continued ability to hone his craft talents and career.

RoundtableNow that the Department of Communication Programs has added Communication Studies as a second major to its roster, the department is expanding extracurricular opportunities for our majors, minors, and interested persons from the general student body to come and apply their communication skills to real-world contexts and activities. The Communication Roundtable provides students with a space in which to discuss socio-cultural issues through a communication lens, develop leadership skills, pursue scholarship endeavors, and gain competencies in the practice of communication with diverse others.

Come and be a part of the inaugural experience as we launch this new club on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Join us at the link below.
