Students in Western Run had the opportunity to become certified in CPR and AED use in a Saturday afternoon session on March 9. Sponsored by the Faculty in the Halls program and attended by Business Communication professors Chip Rouse and Leeanne Bell McManus, the group was taught by Patapsco Hall's mentor and nursing professor Laurel Moody. In the photo below, the students practice infant CPR. All students earned their certifications by the end of the workshop. Thanks to the Faculty in the Halls mentors.

Stevenson's Business Communication majors, faculty and alums were on hand during the weekend of March 8-10 to celebrate the "Weekend of Women."

According to senior Lauren Novsak, one of the members of the planning committee, "The Weekend of Women was designed to connect the women of Stevenson by celebrating the strength of women through educational workshops and inspiring speakers, with the goal of empowering our women. The date coincides with International Women’s Day, which was March 8."

Several BizComm alums (center photo) joined the festivities on Friday for an Alumnae Mixer. They visited with Lauren Novsak, and included Grace Clark, Megan Donohue, Tara Shishmanian and Jen AntonelliDr. Leeanne Bell McManus (left photo) presented a session on Communication and Stress. The planning committee (right photo) included Novsak and BizComm Maya Planter.
