Images of 2019 Relay for Life

Business Communication students, faculty and alums participated in Relay for Life on Friday, March 30, extending the event until 3 a.m. Sunday morning. Teams walk laps around the gym and raise money for the American Cancer Society. In the photos above, the Business Communication team, #TeamChrisNoya, gathered for a group photo early in the evening. The team was walking in remembrance of longtime faculty member and assistant professor, Chris Noya, who passed away earlier in March after a long fight against cancer. Thanks to Leeanne Bell McManus for some of the photos.

Congratulations to the 2019 inductees into Lambda Pi Eta, the honor society of the National Communication Association, who were welcomed on March 30, 2019, in a lovely ceremony held in the Rockland Banquet room. The society's moderator, Dr. Leeanne Bell McManus, posed with the group's officers, secretary Mariah Williams, president Quinn  Luethy, and vice president Molly Myers. Dr. Nadene Vevea, head of communication programs at Stevenson, congratulated the inductees, and alums Grace Clark, Alli Winer, and Bridget Forney, all employed by Profiles, Inc. public relations, spoke during the keynote section of the ceremony. The inductees and their guest speakers posed for a group photo before enjoying a lively reception with family and friends.
