Panelists of interns

Business Communication interns Yina Dong (left) and Andrew Nagel (right) participated in an internship panel on Friday, Nov. 15, 2019, organized by the School of Design's internship director, Sonya Lawyer. The students on the panel (there were more than the photo shows) spoke about their own internships to an audience of current interns, faculty, employers, and students looking for a position. The two communication interns spoke about how they found their site, and what they learned while they were there. The event was held in the Rockland banquet room and was followed by the traditional poster session.

Faculty in the Halls serving Thanksgiving dinnerThanksgiving dinner came early for the first-year residents on Monday, Nov. 18, as their Faculty in the Halls served up a delicious meal with all the trimmings. Communication professors Leeanne Bell McManus and Chip Rouse joined their Faculty in the Hall comrade and nursing professor Laurel Moody to dish up a great homestyle meal to a horde of hungry freshmen. The traditional meal is an annual event that couldn't happen without the help of the Residence Life staff. (Photo by Tiffany Sanchez)
