Congratulations to communication professor Stephanie Verni (center), the SU library staff, and members of '47 House, for their exciting event that launched National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) as well as Verni's sixth published work, Little Milestones. The Oct. 29 interactive event included students and alums who are interested in writing, friends and colleagues of the author, and Elizabeth Fields of the library staff. This was the third year for a National Novel Writing Month event during which all writers are encouraged to write down their stories. Verni said that she began Little Milestones during last year's NaNoWriMo, and is thrilled to have finished it in a year. The novel is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
