Congratulations to Business Communication alum Nicholas ("Nick") Farano, who will start the Princeton AlumniCorps Emerging Leaders program on June 28, 2018. Nick explains that this is a nine-month professional development program that brings together 16 aspiring nonprofit leaders in DC to develop the leadership capabilities, management skills, and confidence to advance their professional contributions and accelerate their careers.

Nick is currently the public relations and fundraising manager at the Prevention of Blindness Society of Metropolitan Washington. Prior to that, he worked for the American Cancer Society in a variety of positions. Nick remains a loyal Stevenson alumni, serving on the SU Alumni Board,  and he received his MBA from Capella University in 2017.

Business Communication alum Laura Ford Gustowarow recently received her Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute. This certification is recognized as a "professionally relevant credential for those who have mastered the strategic and policy-making aspects of HR management as practiced in the United States. retains sole ownership of the badge," according to the HR Certification Institute.
