Business Communication News

Date: May 4, 2018

Congratulation to senior business communication major and first baseman Billy Small, who was just named to the Middle Atlantic Conference first team in baseball.

Small led the team and the conference with seven home runs and posted a .351 batting average, good for third on the Mustangs' squad. In the season finale on May 1 at Marymount University (Va.), he hit three doubles with five RBIs in the Mustangs' 22-3 victory over the Saints.  (Photo from gomustangsports.com)

Congratulations to Business Communication junior Wornden Ly, who was recently named to the Middle Atlantic Commonwealth All-Conference second team in tennis. He finished 5-1 in MAC Commonwealth regular season play, with an 11-8 dual match record in doubles.

Stevenson finished second in the MAC Commonwealth with a 6-1 mark and is 13-6 overall.

Rising junior Business Communication major Emma Cathy Smith was recently the subject of an "exceptional experiences" video in which she talks about her involvement in the music program at Stevenson. As a member of the band, the University Singers, and the Greenspring Valley Orchestra, Emma Cathy can express herself in ways few communication majors can! Watch and listen to the video here.
