Life will be changing for Business Communication alum Jessica Bensley, who is leaving her career of several years at the Original Muck Boot Company/Honeywell to accept a Senior Global Product Management role with Keen Footwear in Portland, Oregon. As of August 15, she will make her way across the country from Providence, Rhode Island, to Oregon to begin work with Keen Footwear, a company that compiles materials from around the world and assembles its products in Portland.

Congratulations to Business Communication alum Gary Gray, who was recently accepted into the prestigious MBA program at Howard University. He has worked for over a year at Howard as an employment recruiter and enjoys the campus community life. Howard University is a federally chartered, private, coeducational, nonsectarian, historically black university in Washington, D.C., according to its website, and the MBA program is recognized for excellence in providing a superior global graduate business education, with an emphasis on leadership in society. In the photo, Gary is shown during his senior internship in sports marketing at the U.S. Naval Academy under the supervision of Chris Grosse.

Business Communication alum Ali Blais has launched a new website,, to promote her brand as a certified yoga instructor. Ali specializes in power sequences that exercise the mind, body and spirit. Most of her classes are held in the Bel Air, Md., area. Ali left her career as director of development with the American Heart Association to follow her passion for wellness.

From Kelly Farmer, the AVP and director of Admissions at SU: Biz Comm grad Andrew Boyer '14 will return to Stevenson's office of Admissions where he worked as an ambassador as an undergraduate. Andrew will be the counselor for students from northern New Jersey, eastern Baltimore County, and the midwestern states. We in Business Communication are so proud to welcome back Andrew to the SU community! While he was a student, Andrew played NCAA soccer, served as president of Mission: I'm Home, and was the public relations director for the SGA. He also interned with the Cool Kids Campaign.
