Senior Kim Hahr (on the right in the photo) is learning all she can about the world of event styling, planning and management under the able direction of Latika Hassell, owner of L-Noel Events in Owings Mills. Kim has participated in photo style shoots, including a call for models, and is learning as much as possible about the bridal side of events in order to manage the company's social media. Kim also has had an opportunity to help plan and execute events on the conference side of the business, relying on her own experience with the Eastern Communication Association's convention in Baltimore in 2016.

Junior Sarah Cullison (on the right in the photo) has found her niche working under Alison Cuomo, web portal administrator, on the Stevenson University portal site.  From gathering and posting information about upcoming university events, to developing specialty web pages for different offices and departments on campus, Sarah has found that her eye for detail and her strong organizational and writing skills have provided her with a complete set of abilities for the job. She hopes to continue learning how to code in HTML to make the job more efficient.

Homecoming Day 2016 -- Saturday, October 22 -- was a blustery and bright day, perfect for welcoming back Business Communication alums and greeting current parents and students as well. The traditional nachos and cheese was the snack of the day, as faculty in the School of Design pitched in to help. A victory in the afternoon football game capped off the day!
