May BizComm grad Rachel Guzman (on the right in the photo) was thrilled to let us know that she just accepted a job as the Development Coordinator at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Maryland Chapter. Rachel completed one of her internships at the MS Society under the mentorship of former BizComm Katie Amos (who had herself interned there before going full time, and is shown on the left in the photo). What a triumph, Rachel, and best of luck in the new job.

The Business Communication department is happy to announce the first "Lunch Lessons" of the semester. These intimate catered lunches, brunches or dinners include the faculty, a small group of students and several alumni who have come back to talk about their career paths. The event is usually held in the Ratcliffe Room two or three times each semester.

The Business Communication department was thrilled to see alum Brandon Scott who had set up shop recruiting for the YMCA during Stevenson's Welcome Picnic on Wednesday, August 27. Brandon's efforts to fill part-time jobs at the YMCA brought him back to Stevenson as he joined various other vendors at the picnic.
