The three BizComm faculty who served as members of the initial "Faculty in the Halls" team are eager to get started for the 2014-15 academic year. Chip Rouse, Leeanne Bell McManus and Christine Noya (pictured above) will work again in the first-year residence halls, particularly Western Run, Susquehanna, and Patapsco, along with other members of the initiative.

The faculty work closely with the resident directors and the senior residence assistants in the halls to ease the student transition into residential life and to help connect academic and resident life.

Business Communication graduate (class of 2009) and former men's volleyball standout Steve Grossnickle has been named the new head men's volleyball coach, replacing the former coach who resigned after two seasons.

Athletic director Brett Adams said, "I am very proud to announce Steve as our next head coach. He help build the program's winning tradition as a player for four years and has helped mold it as an assistant coach for the last four."

According to, Grossnickle will be the eighth head coach in the program's history, and has served the last four seasons as an assistant coach. During that time, he has helped lead the Mustangs to 94 wins, a .696 winning percentage, four-straight 20-win seasons and the program's first-ever national ranking. Stevenson also won the ECAC Division III South championship in 2011 and 2013.
