BizComm associate professor Dr. Leeanne Bell McManus was honored at the 2014 "Best in Maryland" Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Maryland chapter, awards ceremony on December 4 as the "Educator of the Year," having been nominated by one of her public relations students. John Buettner and Glenda LeGendre, of the office of Marketing and Digital Communications at Stevenson, also received an award for an op-ed piece they placed.

Senior China Leak is interning under the mentorship of Cindy Tawiah, president of “Diva by Cindy,” a line of hair-care products she manufactures and markets. China was charged with exploring new ways to market the products, through social media, print media and a new website that China herself created.  China’s mentor is also the creator of  “The Diva Project,” founded in 2004 as a dream to provide wellness services, workshops and spa days for women victims of domestic violence and abuse.
