The BizComm First-Year Seminar once again took home an award for their work during the 2014 LEGO Challenge. Their reconstruction of Fort McHenry under siege during the Battle of Baltimore was nothing short of amazing, and the fact that Baltimore is celebrating the 200th anniversary of the important battle was certainly timely and appropriate. As Francis Scott Key sat in a truce ship in the Baltimore Harbor, he saw "the bombs bursting in air" and was moved to write the lyrics that eventally became The Star Spangled Banner when, at dawn, he saw the American flag still flying high above the Fort. The students connected everything that happened in the battle with the three elements of Career Architecture: Personal Direction, Discipline Expertise, and Professional Know-How. Congratulations to the third-place winners!
