The departments of Business Communication and English at Stevenson University are pleased to announce the launch of faculty member Anthony Moll‘s new book, Out of Step: A Memoir. A reading and release party is scheduled for Tuesday, September 25, 2018, from 7-8:30 p.m. in the Sound Stage in the School of Design.
Moll, who teaches both journalism and creative writing, explains that the book is “a literary memoir about a bisexual, working-class kid joining the army during ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.’ It’s a queer, anti-war coming-of-age story.” The book was selected in 2017 by Michael Kardos as the winner of the Non/Fiction Prize series from The Journal & The Ohio State University Press. The prize included publication with OSU Press’ literary imprint, Mad Creek Books.
