With a generous grant from PNC Bank, students at Stevenson are teaming up with the Jewish Museum of Maryland and the Maryland Historical Society in order to promote the past, present and future of the Baltimore fashion community, and local CBS affiliate WJZ-TV was there to interview two of the Business Communication community, Dr. Nadene Vevea and senior Claudia Tonti.

The focus on Baltimore businesses, designers and retailers is giving new life to the local fashion industry, encouraging emerging professionals to participate in an upcoming show in March. Both Tonti and Vevea are involved with a class at Stevenson called The Mill, an interdisciplinary communication class that works with clients and their marketing needs. Reporter Tracey Leong had the story here.
