Several BizComm students helped their teams get into the playoffs as mid-November approached.

The women’s soccer team beat nationally #1-ranked Messiah College in penalty kicks to win their first Commonwealth Conference Championship and advance into the program’s fourth NCAA Division III tournament. Sophomore Jess Demko and freshmen Sarah Cullison and Lauren Spivey helped the soccer team advance.

The women’s volleyball team also won the Commonwealth Conference Championship against Messiah College for their third MAC championship. The team also advanced into the NCAA Division III tournament for the fourth time. Senior Sam Perillo led the team with 37 digs in the championship, and sophomore Kristen Brooks and freshman Lauren Weaver also starred during the win.

Freshman BizComm Abby Provost and the women’s field hockey team advanced to the ECAC’s for the first time as well.

Congratulations to all of the BizComm athletes and their teams!
