Stevenson Biz Comm alum and women’s volleyball star Samantha Perillo was one of 480 female student-athletes, including 180 from Division III, nominated for the 2015 NCAA Woman of the Year announced on June 19, according to gomustangsports.com. The Woman of the Year award honors graduating female student-athletes who have distinguished themselves throughout their collegiate careers in academics, athletics, service and leadership.
Perillo is a three-time AVCA Honorable Mention All-American and a three-time All-Commonwealth Conference First Team selection. In the 2014-15 season, she was named the Commonwealth Conference Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player of the Commonwealth Conference Volleyball Championship. She was also named ECAC South Defensive Player of the Year. Congratulations, Sam!
