Associate professor of Business Communication, Chip Rouse, was named the first-ever “Christine Noya– Heart of Stevenson” award winner on May 28, 2019, at the annual faculty awards ceremony.
The award commemorates the legacy of faculty member, administrator, and long-time beloved SU member, Christine Noya, who passed away in 2019.
Rouse was nominated for the award by her department. She also received a faculty research grant at the same time to be used for planning and holding an event planning symposium with her colleagues in 2020.
