Congratulations to Business Communication professors Leeanne Bell McManus, Stephanie Verni, and Chip Rouse on the publication of their textbook Event Planning: Communicating Theory and Practice, which was celebrated on Wednesday night, Feb. 3, with a launch party in the Rockland banquet room, attended by the authors, their families, friends, members of the Stevenson community, and alums.
The textbook, published by Kendall Hunt, features case studies provided by professional event planners, many of whom were on hand to receive an autographed copy of the book and to mingle with other guests. Dr. Kevin J. Manning, president of Stevenson University, welcomed attendees, and Dr. Heather Harris, professor of Business Communication, introduced the authors.
