Students in Dr. Kimber’s Developmental Biology class recently had an assignment to find a video that related to concepts covered in class. However students Asher Masih, Taylor Venturino, Heera Waqar, Kendrick Smith, Matthias Ojo, and Neill Baker were not satisfied with what they could find online and decided to make their own fun video entitled “mRNA” which covers the concepts of gene expression.

Invasive species can be detrimental to the longevity and existence of natural species. As part of a service learning project, the ENV 330 Conservation Biology class taught by Dr. Kim Tucker created a professionally published booklet with information about the top ten invasive species along Irvine Nature Center trails....Click here to read more.

Environmental Science students Stephanie Ayres and Diamonique Clark, and Biology major Keeley Cook (all pictured above with Dr. Tucker), led a stream clean-up for Mustangs Make a Difference Day.
