Congratulations to graduating biology major, Montrell Vass, on his appointment as a Research Technologist in the Department of Neuroscience at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Montrell has accumulated a wealth of research experience through multiple summer internships at Johns Hopkins dating back to high school. In this new position, Montrell will be working in Dr. Daniel O'Connor's lab on a research project to map the neurons in the mouse brain as well as record how sense perception is represented in the brain. Montrell hopes to gain important skills and knowledge which will make him a competitive applicant for entry into a Ph.D. program in the future.
