Fun Fact
I’m left handed, I donate platelets and plasma every three months, and I can wrap my arm around my entire head.

Favorite Thing about SU
I enjoy the sense of belonging on the campus when you first walk onto it. Everyone is so kind and friendly. The professors really care and they want you to succeed. Also, once you meet someone new, you see them around campus and you make a new friend!

Advice for New Students
Don’t be afraid to try new things. This is a great time to try new things and meet all kinds of different people. I know that it is intimidating at first, but once you do it and look back, you can say “I’m glad I did that and it really benefited me” or “That experience wasn’t my favorite, but I am glad I tried it.” Also, if you need help in a class, be sure to go to your professors for help ASAP because they are here to help you. They want you to reach your goal, but they cannot help you unless you ask. Like my grandmother says, “The squeakiest wheel gets the oil.”
