Research

Current research activity involves the history of the portrayal of police on television from the 1950s – today. The way that police have been portrayed on television through the years is constantly shifting and adapting with the times and it begs the question of whether the times shape the police shows on television or if the police shows on television shape the times.

Publications

  • I have presented papers and presentations on a wide variety of topics at the annual University Film and Video Association (UFVA) conference every year since 2012 including the upcoming 2017 conference.
  • I have presented papers and presentations on a wide variety of topics at each of the annual Paul D. Lack Stevenson Scholars Showcases at Stevenson University.
  • I have also screened films at numerous film festivals and shows and commercials that I have edited, and screened nationally and internationally on television.
