On Wednesday, October 12th, 2022, Stevenson hosted their annual Fall Career & Internship Fair. This event provided an excellent opportunity for students to network with industry professionals during what is considered “the heaviest recruitment season of the year”.

There were over 100 Mustangs in attendance and an astounding number of 36 employers were eager to discuss job and internship opportunities within fields such as Business, Marketing, Finance, and Public Service. Students came prepared with their striking professional attire, polished resumes, and knowledge of the companies in attendance. Certainly, this impressed the employers immensely.

BSOBL collaborated with the Career Connections Center to organize two exciting events that occurred during the career fair. There was a Food & Networking event, where students got to speak with employers in a more casual setting. Additionally, the Enactus Success Studio set up a pop-up shop for students. Mustangs were able to take professional clothing free of cost! With all of this excitement, certainly we are eager about the next Career & Internship Fair!

On September 28th, 2022, the Future Real Estate Leaders (FREAL) held an engaging Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Greater Baltimore Networking Event. Over 150 people were in attendance. Students had the opportunity to network with industry professionals, and gain insight related to real estate. FREAL considers this event to have been a major success! FREAL is a relatively new club on Stevenson’s campus.

The club was founded by President Tyger Zan and Vice President Dylan Gettier last year. They formed this club to expand their knowledge of real estate outside of their coursework at Stevenson. The three major components of the club are Connect, Inspire, and Community. Tyger and Dylan are extremely passionate and enthusiastic about a future career in real estate and are looking for equally ambitious Mustangs to join. Be on the lookout for upcoming FREAL events and email tzan@stevenson.edu for more information about the club!
