Stevenson School of Graduate and Professional Studies to Offer MedStar Union Memorial Employees 20 Percent Tuition Discount
Stevenson University has finalized a partnership with Baltimore's MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, offering its employees a 20 percent tuition discount for any and all courses offered by Stevenson's School of Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS). The discount takes effect immediately.
"Our programs feature a variety of career-driven courses and offer adult learners scheduling flexibility coupled with a strong support system," said Dr. Judith A. Feustle, Associate Dean of GPS Nursing at Stevenson. "I am happy that Union Memorial employees can take advantage of this tuition discount to pursue any of Stevenson's adult accelerated programs."
The agreement is an outcome of Stevenson's ongoing relationship with Union Memorial. For many years, Stevenson nursing students have had their clinical experiences at the hospital. The tuition discount awards Stevenson the opportunity to reciprocate to MedStar Union Memorial by seamlessly furthering the education of its employees.
"The collaboration between Union Memorial Hospital and Stevenson University will definitely benefit our associates as well as Stevenson University," said Kathy Sullivan, Director of Nursing Education/Development at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. "Stevenson is a well-known, established, and respected University which offers both onsite and online education. Through this collaboration our associates will enhance their ability to continue and complete their educational goals."
