On February 19, 2014, Stevenson University hosted managers in the sports industry to talk with and interact with students at the second annual Sports Industry Symposium. Students could begin building connections and collecting business cards with guests and Stevenson Graduates from the National Football League, the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore County Parks and Recreation.

For the 10th consecutive season, Stevenson University presents "Summer Serenades in the Valley," a festive outdoor concert series featuring a wide array of music by Stevenson's resident ensemble, the Greenspring Valley Orchestra, and other groups organized by Stevenson's music faculty. All performances begin at 7:15 p.m. at the Cuvilly Exchange patio area, located on Stevenson's Greenspring Campus, 1525 Greenspring Valley Road, Stevenson, MD 21153. All performances are free and the public is invited to attend.

Stevenson University graduated the largest class in the school's history this spring when 550 students received their diplomas at Stevenson's 61st Commencement, Friday, May 9 at the University's Greenspring gymnasium. Delivering the keynote address to the record field of graduates was Baltimore-raised Byron Pitts, a multiple Emmy-award-winning journalist and current Anchor and Chief Correspondent for ABC News.

The grand unveiling of the Mustang Statue, "Victory" took place on April 23, 2014 to a grand presentation and a fun reception that followed. The statue will stand as a symbol of pride and encouragement for all Stevenson University students, faculty and staff. The sculpture was crafted by artist Bart Walter of Eldersburg, MD.

Stevenson University hosted a symposium on April 4, 2014, for first generation college students. There were helpful workshops and seminars to learn and connect with people who can help with students who are the first in their family to go to college.

On April 9th, Stevenson's Brown School of Business and Leadership hosted its first Spring Entrepreneurship Symposium, "Entrepreneurship 2014, Are You Ready to Swim with the Sharks". The event brought several leaders in the Baltimore business community to Stevenson who engaged in a panel session and roundtable discussions with School of Business students.

Stevenson University's Mustang Stadium will boast a new addition when a specially commissioned, bronze mustang sculpture is unveiled on Wednesday, April 23 on the University's Owings Mills campus. The unveiling of the 12-foot-tall statue culminates a yearlong project by nationally renowned sculptor, Bart Walter. Details on the celebration at: http://bit.ly/1kKLmp7

On March 27, 2014 students were invited to attend the Design Symposium. Employees from communication and design companies offered advise, insight and practical steps to move towards landing a job in the fields of creative communication, design and technology.

Stevenson University's Athletic Department and Stevenson's School of Education have collaborated on a program in which a total of 41 Stevenson athletes mentor students one-on-one at Chatsworth Elementary School in Reisterstown, MD. Beginning in January, the student-athletes have served as mentors in the subjects of reading, math and physical education, and also bonded with their mentees during recess and lunch.

In 2013 Stevenson University debuted the first ever student produced show "Dizzy Horses", which highlights university activities and events. The cast is comprised of students from numerous majors and classes. Dizzy Horses is seen on SUTV (Stevenson University TV) which has its own You Tube Network site and is featured on channel 27.1 on campus
