Dan Barnhart, Associate Dean and Director of Student Activities Dan coordinates and oversees all student activities on campus including student organizations, student leadership, and orientation. He is also an advisor to the Student Government Association. Dan has only been here since January of 2009, but he is already impressed with the students’ motivation and can-do attitudes as well as the faculty and staff who support the students getting involved. Dan encourages students to reach beyond their boundaries and do things outside of their comfort zone because you never know what trying new things could lead to. |

Teri Atkinson, Assistant Director of Student Activities As the Assistant Director, Teri's main responsibilities are to serve as a resource for student clubs, advise Mustang Activities Programming board (MAP). In addition, she also coordinates orientation programs for new and transfer students, and assists in planning and executing campus-wide activities such as VillaFest, Baccalaureate, and Commencement. Teri loves the family atmosphere here at SU and the exciting opportunities for continued growth on campus. Having only been a staff member since May 2009, Teri is looking forward to working with all of the fantastic students at Stevenson University. |
| Kathy Wilt, Student Activities Office Assistant Kathy Wilt works in the Student Activities Office on the Owings Mills campus as the office assistant. She primarily works with the budget for both the office and all of the clubs and organizations. In addition, she provides front desk support by selling tickets to campus and local events, selling MTA passes, and assisting with contracts and product orders. Recently, Kathy has also begun handling all room reservation requests for clubs and organizations. Kathy’s favorite part of working in the Student Activities Office is interacting with the students. As a veteran of 9 years in the office, she is always willing to help out where she is needed. Feel free to visit Kathy for any of your budgetary needs! | |
| Hope Miller Miles, Student Activities Assistant Hope Miller Miles is the Student Activities Office representative on the Greenspring campus. She is the contact person for clubs and organizations that have questions or needs during an event on the Greenspring campus. Hope also plans off-campus trips for students, sells tickets to various local attractions such as the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore and Orioles games, and administers the plasma screen program. If you need to advertise a school sponsored event on the screens located around campus, Hope is the person to see! She has been with the Student Activities staff since the fall of 2007 and loves it here! Hope believes she has the best job on campus because she has the opportunity to meet and get to know the students-it is what makes her job worth doing every day.
