Your Place On Campus
There are two Commuter Lounges, one located on the Greenspring Campus and the other on the Owings Mills Campus. The Greenspring Campus Commuter Lounge is in the Manuszak Center and includes couches, vending machines, and a microwave. The lounge on the Owings Mills Campus is in the Caves Sports and Wellness Center and includes couches, vending machines, a microwave, several computer stations, and a fax machine.
The Commuter Lounges are set up to give students a dedicated place to study, relax, and meet between classes. However, these are only a few spots where you can unwind. Students are welcome to visit our two libraries, one on each campus. These are popular, quiet spaces for students to do homeworks, research, and study. The library on the Greenspring Campus is located in the Villa Julie Administration Building and the library on the Owings Mills Campus is in the Brown School of Business and Leadership. Also, the Ratcliffe Center on the Owings Mills Campus is open with couches, televisions, and a rec room featuring ping pong and billiards tables.
Just because you commute to campus doesn't mean you can't be deeply involved in the student community through groups, organizations, sports teams, or cultural performances. There are dozens of student groups and organizations including social, cultural, academic, and pre-professional. For a full list of the organizations affiliated with the Office of Student Activities, check the link below. There are new groups forming every year, and you are encouraged to form your own group if you don't see something you're looking for.
Stevenson is a national leader in NCAA Division III athletics. Our teams compete against top programs in the region and our men's lacrosse program won the 2013 NCAA D-III National Championship. All of our programs are looking for talented, dedicated players.
If you aren't interested in one of the varsity athletic programs, but still like to play and compete, you can join one of our club or intramural sports programs. Club sports teams practice throughout the week and compete against club teams at other schools in the region. Intramural leagues are recreational in nature and participants compete against other teams of Stevenson students.

The arts are also alive here at Stevenson with a variety of performance-based cultural programs running throughout the year. There are multiple student theatre performances produced each semester. Both theatre and non-theatre students are cast in the shows. There are also musical groups for students to join, including the Chorus, the Jazz/Fusion Ensemble, and the Marching Band that performs at Stevenson athletics events and other on campus and off campus activities.
