Peer Mentor Program

Mission Statement

The Commuter Student Association Peer Mentor Program was created to meet the needs of incoming commuter students. Stevenson understands that this group faces specific challenges when making the transition to college and aims to alleviate these struggles while building a sense of community. Through the Mentor Program, new commuter students are paired with seasoned student leaders who are equipped to aid in their educational and social development.  By utilizing one-on-one interaction, group gatherings and programming, mentors seek to increase student involvement among peers and connect them to the Stevenson Way.

Why you should participate in the Commuter Student Association Peer Mentor Program:

  •    Meet new people
  •    Become involved on campus
  •    Receive helpful information and get questions answered about being a Stevenson Mustang from a fellow Mustang.

Mentee registration is open to all commuter students. Although created with new and transfer commuter students in mind, we welcome non-traditional and returning commuter students looking to increase their connection to Stevenson.

Mentee Registration Form
Rolling registration for all mentees throughout the year.
