Parking and Transportation
Parking on campus is free and easy.
Parking at the Greenspring, Owings Mills, and Owings Mills North campuses is free for all students.
At the beginning of the academic year, a student must register their vehicle with Campus Security to receive a hang tag to be displayed in their window when parking on campus. With this hang tag on display, a commuter student can park anywhere commuter vehicles are permitted on our campuses. Commuter parking areas are located near the academic buildings on each campus.
To see which parking lots on each campus are open for commuter students, download our parking maps. Visit our Campus Security Parking Information page for more specifics about parking on campus at Stevenson.
If you have classes on more than one campus in the same day, you do not have to drive from campus-to-campus to attend. Rather than use your own gas to drive around, you can park at any of our campuses and catch a ride on one of our University shuttles.
During the semester, a shuttle departs each campus every half hour from 7:30 a.m. until 9:30 p.m., driving students between the Greenspring, Owings Mills, and Owings Mills North campuses. There is no additional fee to ride the shuttle. All a student must do is present the shuttle driver with their Stevenson ID card to ride the shuttle.
Shuttle Service also makes trips to the Owings Mills Metro Station throughout the week. The Owings Mills Metro Station can be used to go into downtown Baltimore and to Penn Station for trips to Washington D.C., Philadelphia, New York, and Boston among other train stops. Through the Office of Student Activities, Stevenson students can receive discounted rates for the Metro Subway.
