Stevenson University has two beautiful campuses located just outside of Baltimore in Stevenson and Owings Mills, Maryland. Faculty and staff get the best of both worlds-the history and beauty of a rural campus (the Greenspring Campus) and the convenience and liveliness of a more urban location (the Owings Mills Campus).

Stevenson's original campus, the Greenspring Campus, lies in the scenic Greenspring Valley. Although surrounded by horse farms and estate homes, the 60-acre wooded campus is just 12 miles from downtown Baltimore.

  2. Director, Pre-Health Professions Advising

    The Director, Pre-Health Professions Advising leads, directs, and implements all advising and services for current students and alumni pursuing post-graduate opportunities in the health professions, with a specific focus on gaining entrance to medical school and allied health professional schools. The Director chairs the Health Professions Evaluation Committee (HPEC), serves as the lead interviewer in HPEC interviews, and writes committee letters. The Director develops and delivers a broad range of services to support undergraduates and alumni preparing for careers in the health professions and pursuing professional school admission in fields such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, physician assistant, veterinary medicine, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other health-related disciplines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, advising; coordinating and delivering programs, speakers, and events to assist pre-health professions students; maintaining the health professions portal and/or website; data tracking and assessment; and preparing reports and publications.

  3. Academic Operations Administrator

    Reporting to the Senior AVPAA, the Academic Operations Administrator oversees and manages the complex administrative and operational activities of the Office of Academic Affairs (OAA). Directs and/or performs research on matters of importance to the office, and drafts cogent, results-oriented written assignments targeted to specific audiences in advancing the OAA’s agenda. Advances and monitors progress on the office’s initiatives, and identifies, assigns, prioritizes, tracks workflow, and ensures completion of specific assignments and projects. Facilitates communication and collaboration, and handles issues, and concerns addressed to the OAA, including those of a sensitive and confidential nature. Assumes primary responsibility for selected projects/initiatives as directed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing comprehensive administrative support for OAA functions, including Faculty Council; project planning and management; and oversight of the OAA’s budget. The individual holding this position is proactive, takes initiative, is efficiently responsive, undertakes projects with little direction, and analyzes and summarizes information for reports. Work and information handled is of a nature regularly requiring confidentiality and discretion.
