  • Program Overview

Kickstart your career as a business professional.

Stevenson's B.S. in Business Administration was designed for adult students who want to start, enhance, or change their careers. You'll gain the knowledge, skills, critical-thinking ability, and technological competence essential to making business decisions, conducting research, analyzing information, and communicating effectively.

    Overview

Stevenson's Business Administration program prepares adult learners like you to manage within an established organization-or even in your own company. You'll learn the knowledge, skills, critical-thinking ability, and technological competence essential for applying sound business decision-making, conducting research, analyzing information, and communicating effectively. When you graduate, you'll have both an understanding of business functions and the ability to integrate and coordinate them. The program includes major courses in business, electives in a variety of business functions, and a core of liberal arts and science courses.

Most courses are scheduled either online in an 8-week format or in an 8-week hybrid format where students meet one night per week. Some courses are offered in a 16-week online format. A B.S. to M.S. option is available if you want to combine your bachelor's degree coursework with work for a master's degree in one of Stevenson's graduate programs. The Business Administration curriculum also gives you an excellent background for continuing your education by pursuing a graduate degree in business or a business-related field.
