They're Playing My Tune
Featuring works by Denise Tassin and hundreds of college students
March 2 to April 4, 2009

To be human is to be creative, to be creative is to be an artist so . . .

EVERYONE an ARTIST?

The Community arts organization Art on Purpose explores what it means to be an artist by placing hundreds of works by students attending 13 Baltimore area colleges and universities side-by-side with art by Denise Tassin, whose multi-faceted and open approach to art-making stands as a model for living creatively. Each exhibition takes place at a partnering university or college and revolves around a different kind of creative impulse:

Collecting, collaborating, playing, exploring the infinite and more.

They're Playing My Tune
Drawings and mixed media works by Denise Tassin and college students from across the Baltimore region created directly from listening to music or in response to other forms of art and performance.
