A Career Discovery Day for Middle School Girls Registration will begin on or about July 1, 2008. Please check back here for registration materials. The Expanding Your Horizons Network (EYH) is a membership organization of educators, scientists, mathematicians, parents, community and government leaders, and corporate representatives whose mission is to encourage young women to pursue science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) careers. Since 1974, over 625,000 young women have participated in EYH events around the world. An EYH Career Discovery Day provides an opportunity for young women to met STEM role models and participate in hands-on activities that are designed to motivate and excite an interest in STEM disciplines. In 2008, Stevenson University will be the only institution in Maryland to host and EYH Career Discovery Day. The event is sponsored by Stevenson University and the Baltimore Branch of the American Association of University Women. |
