Club and Intramural Sports

  • Take your best shot

Stay active by signing up for a club or intramural sports team at Stevenson.

Stevenson University offers a variety of opportunities for students to stretch their competitive muscles and keep active throughout the academic year. Our club sports, intramural sports, and recreation programs provide an outlet for students seeking athletic competition on campus.

Club Sports

Club sport programs are available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students. Club teams offer student-athletes greater flexibility than varsity sport teams, usually only requiring participation in two structured practices a week with games or tournaments scheduled on weekends against other college and university club teams from across the region.

Each club team has a dedicated coach that works with players to develop skills and a cohesive, competitive team. All interested students willing to commit to the program are on the team. Club sports programs do not make cuts. Current teams include:

  • Baseball
  • Men's basketball
  • Women's basketball
  • Men's lacrosse
  • Women's soccer
  • Softball
  • Women's volleyball

For more information about the Club sports program, contact Matt Grimm, Director for Club Sports, at mgrimm@stevenson.edu.

Intramural Sports and Recreation

Our Intramural Sports and Recreation program is committed to improving the quality of life on campus, fostering personal growth for all who participate. The program is open to all students, faculty, and staff. Stevenson University is a member of the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association in which intramurals is a major entity. Intramurals provides both competitive and non-competitive sports, all of which are played on the Owings Mills Campus. Current sports include:
