The Stevenson University Marching Band is a contemporary style university marching band. Membership is open to all Stevenson University students, including non-music majors. The band uses standard woodwind, brass and percussion instruments and synthesizers, guitars and colorguard. Tim Campbell Jr. talks about his academic experience at Stevenson and his on the field experience as a 4 year member of Stevenson's football team. Tim attended the prestigious McDonogh School in Baltimore County, and graduated from Stevenson in the Spring of 2014 with a degree in Business Administration.

The brand new Stevenson University Hall of Fame stands to recognize the achievements of former outstanding student-athletes. It opened to great fanfare during Homecoming + Family Weekend 2014, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on October 22, and a banquet on October 25. Learn more:

On Monday, September 29, 2014, hundreds of Orioles fans and community members attended an Orioles #WeWontStop Rally outside of Mustang Stadium on Stevenson University’s Owings Mills campus. The event featured a Q&A with former Oriole Scott McGregor, playoff ticket and T-shirt giveaways, and appearance by the Oriole Bird.

Stevenson University's Athletic Department and Stevenson's School of Education have collaborated on a program in which a total of 41 Stevenson athletes mentor students one-on-one at Chatsworth Elementary School in Reisterstown, MD. Beginning in January, the student-athletes have served as mentors in the subjects of reading, math and physical education, and also bonded with their mentees during recess and lunch.

On February 19, 2014, Stevenson University hosted managers in the sports industry to talk with and interact with students at the second annual Sports Industry Symposium. Students could begin building connections and collecting business cards with guests and Stevenson Graduates from the National Football League, the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore County Parks and Recreation.

Stevenson University sophomore Stephanie Martinez banked in a buzzer beating 3-pointer to propel the Mustangs Women's Basketball team to a one-point victory over Messiah on January 15, 2014. The final score was 72-70.

On Oct. 20, 2013, the Stevenson University Men's Lacrosse team was awarded their championship rings for winning the final game against RIT at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, PA.

Stevenson freshman Austin Tennessee stole the football from Albright quarterback TJ Luddy as he tried to sneak into the endzone. Tennessee then takes the ball 99 yards, officially, the other way for the Mustang touchdown. The return is the longest in school history and gave Stevenson a 17-3 lead at the time. The Mustangs went on to beat the Lions 24-18 in the biggest win in program history.
