High School Media Workshop presented by the Art Department

The Workshops:  Two non-credit courses available for 15 students in each workshop.  All materials are supplied by the University.

Course Options:

Photographic Processes

Students will have the opportunity to explore alternative processes in photography using digital cameras, and pinhole cameras. Students will work hands-on in the darkroom and in a digital technology lab.  Principles of photographic composition and content will be discussed.

Design a Website

Students will have the opportunity to imagine, design, and build a web site from scratch.  Students will work hands-on in Dreamweaver and Fireworks applications in a Macintosh environment. Principles of good web design and basic usability topics will be discussed.

Registration begins at 8:30 am at the Greenspring Campus in the Theatre lobby.

Parents who wish to join their child on campus will have a tailored parallel program to follow for the day while their child is in the workshop.
