Congratulations on your admission to Stevenson University for fall 2012! We welcome you to the University and hope that you are excited to be part of the SU community.This page is designed to give you some helpful information as you make the transition from high school to your first year at Stevenson. We will update this page throughout the year as new information is available, so please check back often.

Enrollment Deposit and Housing Profile Forms
Once you have decided to enroll at Stevenson, you must let us know and reserve your space in the fall 2012 class by completing the Enrollment Intent Form (PDF) and submitting your $300 enrollment deposit.  You can also complete the Enrollment Intent Form and submit your $300 deposit via credit card securely with our online form. If you plan to live on campus, you must also complete the Housing Profile Form (PDF) or online.  There is no additional deposit for reserving a space in housing. You should submit your Enrollment Intent and Housing Profile Forms by May 1.  MORE>>

Join the Class of 2016 Facebook Group
Make friends with other students thinking about being members of the SU Class of 2016 and get all the latest news from Admissions and the University by joining the Class of 2016 Group.

Student Health Form
The student health form is required for all full-time residential and commuter students.  In addition to the completed health form, all students planning to live on-campus are also required to be immunized against Meningococcal disease. Applying for Financial Aid
To be considered for need-based financial aid, you must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), which is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.  You can complete the FAFSA anytime after January 1, 2012. Before being able to submit the FAFSA, you and your parents will need a federal Personal Identification Number (PIN), which you can apply for at www.pin.ed.gov.  You can apply for a PIN at any time. Stevenson’s priority deadline for submitting the FAFSA is February 15.  MORE>>

Information Receptions for Accepted Students
Stevenson will be hosting special dinners for admitted students throughout the spring.  These are invitation only events specifically for students who have been admitted to Stevenson for the fall 2012 semester. Dates and RSVP information will be posted here in early 2012.

Placement Testing
English and/or math placement testing is required of some students dependent upon SAT or ACT scores. Stevenson offers this testing on-campus. You will receive a letter containing information about placement testing after you deposit in the spring. Most students test during Mustang Days in the summer however early testing is available on selected days in the spring.  Further details about placement testing will be posted here when placement letters are mailed.

Mustang Days (Orientation) & Registration
Mustang Days are Stevenson's orientation programs.  Each student comes for one Mustang Day in June 2012.  You have a choice of two different Mustang Days based on your intended major.  Invitations to Mustang Days with RSVP information are mailed in May to students who have deposited to attend in the fall.  Exact dates are posted on the "Important Dates" page. MORE>>

Changing Your Major
If you would like to start at Stevenson with a different major than you put on your application, please call Admissions. You do not need to speak with an academic advisor about changing your major until after you have registered for your fall classes.

Nursing Admission
There are no separate requirements to be admitted to a specific major as a freshman at Stevenson.  So, if you have been admitted to Stevenson as a freshman and you indicated Nursing as your intended major, you have also been admitted to Nursing.  Once you are a current student in Nursing, however, you must meet certain academic requirements, explained here, to continue in the program.

AP/IB Credit Policy
Stevenson does accept scores on some AP and IB tests for transfer credit. Please click the following link for full details.  MORE>>
