  • Experiential Learning
    • Q:   Are internships and co-operative education programs available to students?
    • A:   At SU, we believe higher education begins in the classroom; however, we also believe that it does not end there. Learning experiences that take place outside of the classroom are a critical component of a truly valuable college education.
The Stevenson concept of Learning Beyond offers several ways for students to explore educational opportunities beyond the classroom, including Cooperative Education (Co-Op) and Internships. Co-ops are part time, salaried positions within your field of study that students participate in while attending school full time. Internships are opportunities for students to earn academic credit while gaining on-the-job experience within your field of study.
