    You're Destined for Greatness

Through our STAR Program, your pathway to success at SU is closer than you think. Find out more information and read about how this program will benefit you.

What is STAR?

The Stevenson Transfer Advantage Relationship (STAR) is a transfer access program designed for students who begin their college education at a partner community college and wish to complete a bachelor’s degree at Stevenson. The STAR program makes available to its participants a transfer course plan, guidance by knowledgeable counselors, and scholarship funds.

STAR students “lock in” degree requirements with a specified transfer course plan and catalog year, resulting in a seamless transition from the community college to earning a bachelor’s degree at Stevenson. STAR is supported by up-to-date transfer equivalencies and financial resources that will allow students to efficiently complete degrees at both the community college and Stevenson University. Learn more information about how to apply, complete a STAR application, and choose your Major-specific STAR Plan. The STAR program will help you stay on track with what you want to accomplish during your educational career.

Take advantage of the STAR program's many benefits:

  • Lock-in degree requirements (catalog year)
  • Make a bachelor's degree more affordable
  • Earn an associate's degree on your way to a SU bachelor's degree
  • Receive an annual $2,000 STAR scholarship while completing a Stevenson bachelor's degree
  • Have knowledgeable support at your community college and SU
  • Use resources for ease of transition
  • Pay no application fee
  • Guarantee your transfer admission to Stevenson

Stevenson has special articulation agreements with specific community colleges. Our list continues to grow, so check back as new partnerships are formed frequently.
