Transfer Students

The next step toward reaching your potential.

Stevenson works hard to provide a transfer-friendly environment for students changing schools. Approximately 30 percent of our student body is comprised of transfer students, making Stevenson one of the largest transfer populations among Maryland's independent universities.

Whether you are transferring from a community college or another four-year institution, our staff will work with you in the transition. We know how important it is for you to earn a degree that will put you on the path to a successful career. With 91 percent of our graduates employed or in graduate school within six months of earning a degree, according to a recent survey, we are confident you will find your fit at Stevenson.

Please note that you are not considered a transfer student unless you have graduated from high school or obtained a GED and have attended another college or university. High school students who have taken college credits before receiving a high school diploma are considered freshman students.
